Maltodextrin is manufactured in USA and complies to meet FCC requirements.
It is a white odourless powder produced by the enzyme conversion of corn starch and refined by ion exchange demineralisation to improve clarity and solubility. It has a Dextrose Equivalent (DE) of 10.
Maltodextrins are bland, nutritive saccharide polymers consisting of glucose units and can be used to increase soluble solids, inhibit sugar crystallisation, and control freezing point. They have also been used as fat mimics in frozen desserts.
Maltodextrin is packed in 5 kg cartons.

For the purpose of this statement allergens are defined by the FSANZ Food Standards, in particular Standard 1.2.3 Mandatory warning and advisory statements and declarations, table to clause 4.

It defines allergens as Cereals containing gluten and their products, namely, wheat, rye, barley, oats and spelt and their hybridised strains other than where these substances are present in beer and spirits standardised, Crustacea (shellfish), Egg products, Fish products., Dairy products, Peanuts, Soybeans, Tree nuts, Sesame seeds and any added Sulphites in concentrations of 10 mg/kg or more.

Maltodextrin CR10 does not contain any known allergens as listed in Standard 1.2.3
