Mixed Tocopherols is a commonly used antioxidant extracted from oil seeds. It is commonly used in a range of products containing fats and oils to reduce the rate of oxidation. Our Mixed Tocopherols contains natural mixed tocopherols, standardised with rape seed oil and to ensure minimum 70% Tocopherols. It is a viscous brown liquid and is soluble in oil but not water.

For the purpose of this statement allergens are defined by the FSANZ Food Standards, in particular Standard 1.2.3 Mandatory warning and advisory statements and declarations, table to clause 4.

It defines allergens as Cereals containing gluten and their products, namely, wheat, rye, barley, oats and spelt and their hybridised strains other than where these substances are present in beer and spirits standardised, Crustacea (shellfish), Egg products, Fish products., Dairy products, Peanuts, Soybeans, Tree nuts, Sesame seeds and any added Sulphites in concentrations of 10 mg/kg or more.

Mixed Tocopherols are extracted from soybean but contain protein residues well below any level that would be hazardous to soybean- or peanut-allergic consumers.
